Proverbs 24:12-14

¹²If you say, “Look, we didn’t know this.”
Won’t He who weighs hearts perceive it?
Won’t He who guards your soul know it?
Won’t He repay each one according to his deeds?^[a]

¹³Eat honey, my son, for it is good,
and honeycomb is sweet to your taste.
¹⁴Likewise know that wisdom is sweet to your soul.
If you find it, there will be a future, and your hope will not be cut off.
